Access to Oaken Grove is from either Courthouse Road, Oaken Grove or Blenheim Road.
It is located in north west Maidenhead and has a wide range of facilities for active sports and casual recreation, all within an attractive landscaped setting covering 8 hectares.
There is a car park, Multi Use Games Area, play area for 3-16 year olds and a cafe which is open 7 days a week during park opening hours. There are several football pitches, Tennis Courts and a Bowling Green.
The Sir Nicholas Winton Gardens is a recent addition.
The area covered by the park was once part of Pinkneys Green Farm Estate which was sold for housing in the 1920’s. The Borough of Maidenhead purchased the land in 1935 for use as a public open space. The Park is thought to be named after a grove of oak trees situated on the Farm Estate.
