Sir Nicholas Winton statue
A statue honoring Sir Nicholas Winton, a resident of Pinkneys Green, stands at Maidenhead Railway Station, unveiled by Theresa May in 2010. Winton is celebrated for smuggling hundreds of children from Czechoslovakia during World War II. He is also commemorated with a garden in Oaken Grove and buried in Braywick Cemetery.
